Growing up as an Indian American from a big immigrant family, my experiences have led me to understand and empathize with the difficulties of balancing a diverse set of identities, both cultural and otherwise. Navigating these challenges has deepened my insight into the mental health struggles faced by many BI/POC individuals on a daily basis.
I understand the stigma that exists within many BI/POC cultures when it comes to seeking mental health care and the taboo around simply discussing it. As such, I also recognize the immense courage that comes with breaking barriers and prioritizing your mental health.
If you are looking to work through matters such as anxiety, guilt, family dynamics, and beyond, I am here to provide a therapeutic space where you can feel safe, seen, heard, and respected. Cultivating joy in troubling times may seem tough, but is not impossible. If any of this resonates with you, I would be honored to be a part of your journey.

Fighting life’s many challenges can feel like a never ending battle, especially when feelings of hopelessness and frustration take over. Perhaps you’re feeling stuck, or misunderstood or maybe you just want someone to talk to who listens and understands. You’re probably sick and tired of having to be “strong” all the time, and it’s left you feeling drained. You deserve to be heard—to be validated—to be seen.
In therapy, I will provide empathy, unconditional support and guidance to help you reach your goals. I utilize integrative psychotherapy to help you break old patterns, and to understand yourself in transformative ways. I have experience supporting clients of various backgrounds struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma as well as life transitions and relationship issues.
I am invested in working with black and brown populations, especially young professionals and women of color. This stems from my own experiences as a black woman of both Jamaican and Puerto Rican descent. I aim to help individuals achieve empowerment, resiliency and a more fulfilling and balanced life. Call me today and it'll be my honor to take that journey with you.

I'm here to support anyone seeking a safe and confidential space to work through their struggles. We can start by discussing what safety means to you, and then explore the steps we need to take to empower you to move forward. It is my priority that you feel comfortable being your authentic self. In our sessions, we will take a holistic approach, by supporting you in forming a deeper understanding of your identities and your environment. Your trauma is not your fault. Our sessions will be an opportunity for you to gain a greater sense of self and practice regaining control of your life.
I have 7 years of experience working with survivors of violence, in particular domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. My specialities also include working with immigrants, people of color, and adolescents. Ultimately, I believe that the key to our success is through trust and compassion.
