Our team

Hi, I’m Bushra! I’m glad you’re here.

I offer therapy for Asian American, Queer, and Muslim clients, with an intersectional focus on those identities. I have 9 years of experience working with people who are managing day-to-day anxiety, navigating an unjust society, working through identity and cultural expectations, and figuring out relationships—whether that’s with family, friends, partners, or themselves.

I am a trauma-informed therapist trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). That means we get to know the different parts of you—the anxious part, the perfectionist, or younger parts of yourself—with curiosity and compassion. The goal isn’t to get rid of these parts but rather to understand the role they’ve been playing and what they might need.

I believe that we’re all human doing our best to move through a complicated world. The choices we make don’t come out of nowhere—they’re shaped by our environments, our histories, families, and the systems we live within. This is the foundation I use to support my clients in understanding themselves and their lives more deeply.

If you’re looking for a therapist, I can offer a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported as you navigate the external world and your inner world.
